Another accident has occurred on the "bajada del diablo" in Mexico City, this time involving a Jarritos beverage truck.
According to the report from the capital's Citizen Security Secretariat, personnel from the C2 Poniente informed field officers of the SSC that at the corner of Paso Florentin and Paso Viejo streets, in the La Mexicana neighborhood, Álvaro Obregón mayor's office, a truck collided with the facade of a house.
"Upon arrival, they requested the presence of a medical unit. Paramedics who arrived at the scene treated an 86-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman who suffered nervous breakdowns and did not require transfer to a hospital."
The area was cordoned off by security elements, who waited for the arrival of the truck's insurance representative, who will be responsible for repairing the property.
Videos on social media show the truck slowly starting to slide down the slope, gaining more speed, and finally impacting the house with a strong blow.
Finally, it should be noted that this is not the first time such an incident has been reported, as vehicle sliding is a constant on the steep street.
